Some of you may have seen me around and some may be curious as to who is in town or who I am.  Some of you have already met me from my previous trip here in November. I have already met some new faces this time around, including a very nice man named Mike Andrew, Sr. who asked Barb why my visit wasn’t in the newsletter.   My name is Vicki and I am going to be spending a few months out here staying with the twins while Nancy takes her trip to Hawaii and Japan, and helping Barb out with the boys when she has to leave town for training. While I am here, I hope to be involved with community activities as well as the growing fire department. I look forward to working with all of you while I am here.

I am currently an EMT-1 taking a bit of a break from my education in furthering my EMS and Fire Science degree.  I worked last summer for Bristol Bay Fire Department and along-side other organizations in the EMS field.  Though I grew up and have spent most of my life in Alaska, I am excited to experience life in a small village for the first time.
