Welcome Our New Administrator Rhonda Wayner

Rhonda is not new to our team, she’s spent the last 5 years with us as a contracted accountant with Arctic Tern Professional Services and assists in the annual audit prep process. Rhonda was raised in Naknek, AK and is a member of Naknek Native Village, as well as a shareholder of APC and BBNC. She's married to Paul Wayner, a pilot for Alaska Airlines & certified flight instructor. Paul & Rhonda have 2 adult children. Reise and his wife Finn Wayner who have blessed them with two grandsons Malakai Bay & Dane Katmai currently residing in Unalaska. The youngest, Harmony Wayner is working on her Masters Degree in Coastal & Marine Management from the University Center of the Westfjords in Ísafjörður, Iceland. The Wayner family commercially fishes together, it’s their favorite summer activity. Rhonda is thrilled to be part of the Igiugig team in a new role and returning to an area that she has a lot of pleasant memories. She enjoys cooking, hiking, and is looking forward to spring bird season. Dry fish & dry meat with berries are her favorite comfort foods.
